The good news is storytelling is a skill which means anyone can learn how to tell great stories, even you! And a great story can change everything. It can reframe you in the eyes of your prospect from a salesperson to a trusted expert and problem-solver.

Systematically developing your ability to communicate with an audience of any size from 1 to 1,000 will significantly improve every aspect of your communication. Being able to stand up and speak calmly and comfortably and clearly will also set you apart as a leader – even if you are only speaking for a few minutes. People who can stand up and speak in front of others look like leaders.

And it’s much easier than you might think at first. Join us on Wed Sept 25th as Lorna Weston-Smyth, an Executive Director and Faculty member of the John Maxwell Team, walks us through some key points that will make your storytelling for business much easier.

Lorna Weston-Smyth is a Leadership and Mindset Executive Coach who brings her years as a serial entrepreneur to businesses and professionals to help them grow to the next level.  Through coaching, mentoring and training Lorna works with them to become better leaders in their business and in their life to get better results, build a team they can count on and create the life that they want by choice, not chance.

Lorna is a member of the Forbes Coaches Council, a Founding member of the John Maxwell Certification Program and a Faculty member. She is on the John Maxwell Team President's Advisory Council (PAC) and serves on the Executive Committee for PAC. She is also the President of the Board of Directors for the Durham Workforce Authority. She has served on a number of other boards and committees including Toastmasters, the Whitby Chamber of Commerce, Business Networking International, the Business and Professional Women.
